Research Projects

Although there are a few different ways to combat hair loss today from medical treatments to surgical options, none of them are the definite cure for hair loss.

Scientists are working continuously on techniques to overcome hair loss.

We have decided to implement continuous research to evaluate and develop theoretical and experimental basics that provide essential information for the development of innovative applications for hair transplant surgeries.

Our purpose, in common with all world leaders and scientists in the hair transplantation subject, is to create, apply and circulate new knowledge in order to help to find the cure for hair loss.

We have started two large research projects in 2003:

This year, as a result of our doctor's systematic and diligent research, Transmed has been awarded with 2 prestigious prizes by ISHRS for those two projects.

Our doctors Dr. Melike Külahçı and Dr. Ergin Er have received awards for their contributions at the 12th Annual Scientific Meeting of ISHRS on August 11-15, 2004 at Vancouver, Canada.
